Can I wear it over a backpack or a winter coat?
Yes. The zipper opens the full length, so you put it on like a jacket instead of pulling it over your head. The relaxed cut leaves room for a pack or a bulky layer underneath.
Does it fold back into the pouch after I use it?
It does. Shake off the water, let it air out, then fold it and tuck it back in. The pouch is sized for repeat use, not just the first time.
Will the hood stay up when it's windy?
The hood is attached and sits deep, and snapping the sides closed keeps the whole poncho from catching air like a sheet. In strong gusts you may still want a hand on the hood.
Can I wear it while cycling or walking the dog?

Where are your pieces designed and shipped from?
Every piece is designed in our studio at 6017 Patton St in Uptown New Orleans and ships from our warehouse in North America.
How should I care for wool and cashmere?
Always follow the care label. As a rule: wash gently in cold water or have it dry cleaned, dry knitwear flat, store it folded rather than on a hanger, and let wool rest a day between wears.
