Hartwell Oaks takes its name from the live oaks of Uptown New Orleans — trees that have stood for centuries, quietly growing more beautiful with every season.

Our studio sits a few blocks from Audubon Park, where moss-draped branches arch over the avenues and fall arrives slowly, in golden light. That is how we think about clothing: timeless silhouettes, honest materials and a fit you can trust — pieces made to be worn season after season.

Every collection begins on our worktable a few blocks from the park — with swatches of wool, tweed and cashmere, and a simple question: will this still feel right in ten years? If the answer is yes, it becomes Hartwell Oaks.

We design in the US, ship from our North American warehouse and answer every email ourselves, usually within a few hours. Because good clothing deserves good service.
