Does the velvet like shed or leave fuzz on dark clothes?
No. The velvet like is a knit polyester, not a cut-pile fabric, so it doesn't shed. Wearing it over a dark tee won't leave marks.
Can I wear this in a warm office?
Yes. The knit is light and the front stays open, so it works well in air-conditioned rooms. It's a layer, not a heavy coat.
Does it have buttons or a closure?
No. It's designed as an open-front style, so it drapes down either side. That's what keeps the shawl collar looking soft instead of stiff.
Will the velvet like flatten in the wash?
Wash it cold and hang it to dry and the texture holds. Avoid high heat in the dryer, which is what flattens velvet like pile over time.

Is return shipping free?
A return shipping fee applies to standard returns and is deducted from your refund. Returns are free if an item arrived damaged, faulty or incorrect — just send us a photo and we’ll take care of everything.
When will I receive my refund?
Once your return arrives at our warehouse and has been checked, we issue the refund to your original payment method and confirm it by email. Depending on your bank, it can take a few additional business days to appear on your statement.

Where are your pieces designed and shipped from?
Every piece is designed in our studio at 6017 Patton St in Uptown New Orleans and ships from our warehouse in North America.
How should I care for wool and cashmere?
Always follow the care label. As a rule: wash gently in cold water or have it dry cleaned, dry knitwear flat, store it folded rather than on a hanger, and let wool rest a day between wears.
