Will my dog actually keep it on?

Is the built-in ring strong enough for a puller?
The ring is stitched into the back panel, not clipped on, so pressure spreads across the coat instead of one point. For dogs who pull hard or lunge near traffic, we still recommend a separate harness for extra control.
What happens if he gets caught in rain or wet snow?
The outer shell sheds light rain and snow on a normal walk. In steady rain it will eventually take on water, so dry it flat afterward before the next wear.
How do I get the right size?
Measure your dog before ordering — chest at the widest point, and back length from the base of the neck to the base of the tail. Then match those numbers to the size chart. Don't guess based on breed, since two dogs of the same breed often need different sizes.

How do I start a return or exchange?
Email contact@hartwell-oaks.com with your order number and the items you’d like to return or exchange. We’ll send you a printable UPS return label — pack the items with their tags and drop the parcel at any UPS location.
Is return shipping free?
A return shipping fee applies to standard returns and is deducted from your refund. Returns are free if an item arrived damaged, faulty or incorrect — just send us a photo and we’ll take care of everything.
When will I receive my refund?
Once your return arrives at our warehouse and has been checked, we issue the refund to your original payment method and confirm it by email. Depending on your bank, it can take a few additional business days to appear on your statement.

What if I’m between two sizes?

Always follow the care label. As a rule: wash gently in cold water or have it dry cleaned, dry knitwear flat, store it folded rather than on a hanger, and let wool rest a day between wears.
