Are these warm enough for snow?
They have a soft lining that takes the chill off, but this is a fall-to-early-winter boot, not an insulated snow boot. For deep snow or long stretches below freezing, wear a thicker sock.
Is the sole flexible or stiff?
The rubber sole has some give, so it bends with your step from the first wear. There's no stiff break-in period.
How tall is the wedge?
It's a chunky mid-height wedge — enough lift to change how an outfit sits, but the height is spread across the whole sole instead of stacked on a narrow heel.
Can I wear thick socks with these?
The shaft is snug by design. Thin to medium socks work best; with heavy wool socks you'd want the next size up.

Email contact@hartwell-oaks.com with your order number and the items you’d like to return or exchange. We’ll send you a printable UPS return label — pack the items with their tags and drop the parcel at any UPS location.
Is return shipping free?
A return shipping fee applies to standard returns and is deducted from your refund. Returns are free if an item arrived damaged, faulty or incorrect — just send us a photo and we’ll take care of everything.
When will I receive my refund?
Once your return arrives at our warehouse and has been checked, we issue the refund to your original payment method and confirm it by email. Depending on your bank, it can take a few additional business days to appear on your statement.

What if I’m between two sizes?
