Can I wear these in the rain all day, or just through puddles?
They handle wet sidewalks, puddles and damp weather without staining. They're water resistant, not a sealed rain boot, so we wouldn't stand in deep water for hours.
Do they stay on well when I walk fast?
Yes. The ankle cut sits snug against the foot, so there's no slipping at the heel when you pick up the pace.
What do I do if they get salt stains in winter?
Wipe them with a damp cloth as soon as you're inside, then let them air dry away from heat. The PU surface doesn't absorb the salt the way suede does.
Can I wear thicker socks with these?
A regular sock or a thin wool sock works fine. For chunky socks, the half size up is the safer pick.

How do I start a return or exchange?
Email contact@hartwell-oaks.com with your order number and the items you’d like to return or exchange. We’ll send you a printable UPS return label — pack the items with their tags and drop the parcel at any UPS location.
Is return shipping free?
A return shipping fee applies to standard returns and is deducted from your refund. Returns are free if an item arrived damaged, faulty or incorrect — just send us a photo and we’ll take care of everything.
When will I receive my refund?
Once your return arrives at our warehouse and has been checked, we issue the refund to your original payment method and confirm it by email. Depending on your bank, it can take a few additional business days to appear on your statement.
