Does the timer really restart on its own each day?
Yes. Set it once with the remote and it turns on at that same hour every evening, then shuts off 6 hours later. You only reset it if you want a different start time.
How do I change the batteries?
The battery compartment is on the underside of the base. Lift the candle, open the cover, swap the batteries, set it back down. It keeps working as a candle even if you never touch the remote.
Will it match the rest of my Christmas decor?
The cream crackle body and warm terracotta base sit in neutral rustic tones, so they read as farmhouse or Nordic rather than bright holiday plastic. The pine, berries, and brass bell tie into greenery you already have out.
Can I put it outside on the porch?
Keep it indoors. It's made for indoor use — damp air and cold can affect the finish and the electronics.

How do I start a return or exchange?
Email contact@hartwell-oaks.com with your order number and the items you’d like to return or exchange. We’ll send you a printable UPS return label — pack the items with their tags and drop the parcel at any UPS location.
Is return shipping free?
A return shipping fee applies to standard returns and is deducted from your refund. Returns are free if an item arrived damaged, faulty or incorrect — just send us a photo and we’ll take care of everything.
When will I receive my refund?
Once your return arrives at our warehouse and has been checked, we issue the refund to your original payment method and confirm it by email. Depending on your bank, it can take a few additional business days to appear on your statement.

What if I’m between two sizes?
The Size Assistant tells you when you’re between sizes and which one gives a closer or roomier fit. For coats and jackets you’ll wear over knitwear, we usually recommend the larger size.

Always follow the care label. As a rule: wash gently in cold water or have it dry cleaned, dry knitwear flat, store it folded rather than on a hanger, and let wool rest a day between wears.
