Smooth, sealed surfaces work best — think painted walls with a satin or semi-gloss finish, doors, tile, glass, or cabinet fronts. Rough textured walls, raw brick, and flat matte paint hold the adhesive poorly. Test one piece in a low corner first and leave it a few hours.
How do the lights turn on?
Each piece lights up on its own, so there's nothing to plug in and no cord to hide. Just place them where you like and switch them on.
Can I take them down and use them again next year?
Yes. Lift slowly from one edge rather than pulling straight out from the wall. Store them flat in a box so the shapes stay true.
Can I use these outside?
These are made for indoor use. Wood and adhesive both react badly to damp and cold, so keep them inside.
How to use
- Step 1: Wipe the surface with a dry cloth and let it sit for a minute. Dust and grease are the main reason adhesive lets go.
- Step 2: Lay the seven pieces on the floor first and arrange your design. It takes 2 minutes and saves you repositioning on the wall.
- Step 3: Peel the backing and press each piece firmly for 10 seconds. Steady pressure matters more than hard pressure.

Where are your pieces designed and shipped from?
Every piece is designed in our studio at 6017 Patton St in Uptown New Orleans and ships from our warehouse in North America.
How should I care for wool and cashmere?
Always follow the care label. As a rule: wash gently in cold water or have it dry cleaned, dry knitwear flat, store it folded rather than on a hanger, and let wool rest a day between wears.
