Does the tablecloth slide around on a smooth table?
It lies flat once smoothed out, and the weight of plates and centerpieces holds it in place. If your table is very glossy, a thin felt pad underneath keeps everything steady.
Can I leave it on the table for the whole holiday season?
Yes. Many people set it out in early December and leave it through New Year's. Just wipe it down after meals.
Will candle wax come off it?
Let the wax harden completely, then lift it off gently with a dull knife edge. Any residue usually comes out in a normal cold wash.
Does it need ironing after washing?
Usually not. Hang it or spread it over the table while slightly damp and the creases relax on their own.
How to use

How do I start a return or exchange?
Email contact@hartwell-oaks.com with your order number and the items you’d like to return or exchange. We’ll send you a printable UPS return label — pack the items with their tags and drop the parcel at any UPS location.
Is return shipping free?
A return shipping fee applies to standard returns and is deducted from your refund. Returns are free if an item arrived damaged, faulty or incorrect — just send us a photo and we’ll take care of everything.
When will I receive my refund?
Once your return arrives at our warehouse and has been checked, we issue the refund to your original payment method and confirm it by email. Depending on your bank, it can take a few additional business days to appear on your statement.

What if I’m between two sizes?

Always follow the care label. As a rule: wash gently in cold water or have it dry cleaned, dry knitwear flat, store it folded rather than on a hanger, and let wool rest a day between wears.
