Does the hood stay up, or does it slide off?
The hood is roomy and sits back on the shoulders when down. Flip it up and it stays put in normal wind, though it isn't a drawstring hood.
Can I wear this indoors without overheating?
Yes. The fleece-look is plush but light, and the open front lets you cool off fast. Most people wear it around the house as easily as outside.
Will the fleece shed or pill after a few wears?
Wash it cold and hang dry and the surface stays smooth. Avoid high heat in the dryer, which is what roughs up fleece fastest.

How do I start a return or exchange?
Email contact@hartwell-oaks.com with your order number and the items you’d like to return or exchange. We’ll send you a printable UPS return label — pack the items with their tags and drop the parcel at any UPS location.
Is return shipping free?
A return shipping fee applies to standard returns and is deducted from your refund. Returns are free if an item arrived damaged, faulty or incorrect — just send us a photo and we’ll take care of everything.
When will I receive my refund?
Once your return arrives at our warehouse and has been checked, we issue the refund to your original payment method and confirm it by email. Depending on your bank, it can take a few additional business days to appear on your statement.

What if I’m between two sizes?

Always follow the care label. As a rule: wash gently in cold water or have it dry cleaned, dry knitwear flat, store it folded rather than on a hanger, and let wool rest a day between wears.
