Do I need to build the flowers in order?
Yes, the boxes are numbered 1 through 24. Each one is designed to be opened on its matching December day, and the bouquet fills out as you go.
What happens if a small piece goes missing?
Reach out to us with your order number and we'll sort it out. We'd rather send you a replacement than have you finish with a gap in your bouquet.
Is this a one-person activity or can we do it together?
Either works. Plenty of people build it alongside a child or grandchild — just keep an eye on the small pieces with younger kids, since they're a choking risk.
Can I take it apart and rebuild it next December?
You can. The pieces click rather than glue, so you can disassemble the bouquet, return the parts to their boxes, and start the countdown again next year.
How to use
- Step 1: Find the box marked with today's date and open it.
- Step 2: Follow the picture instructions inside. Most flowers take 5 to 10 minutes.
- Step 3: Press the finished flower into the base beside yesterday's build.
- Step 4: Close the lid and leave the bouquet on display. Repeat tomorrow.

How do I start a return or exchange?
Email contact@hartwell-oaks.com with your order number and the items you’d like to return or exchange. We’ll send you a printable UPS return label — pack the items with their tags and drop the parcel at any UPS location.
Is return shipping free?
A return shipping fee applies to standard returns and is deducted from your refund. Returns are free if an item arrived damaged, faulty or incorrect — just send us a photo and we’ll take care of everything.
When will I receive my refund?
Once your return arrives at our warehouse and has been checked, we issue the refund to your original payment method and confirm it by email. Depending on your bank, it can take a few additional business days to appear on your statement.

How do I find the right size?

What if I’m between two sizes?
The Size Assistant tells you when you’re between sizes and which one gives a closer or roomier fit. For coats and jackets you’ll wear over knitwear, we usually recommend the larger size.
Which size system do you use?
All clothing is sized in US sizes. For shoes, the Size Assistant converts your usual US, EU or UK size — or your foot length — into the right size for each style.

Always follow the care label. As a rule: wash gently in cold water or have it dry cleaned, dry knitwear flat, store it folded rather than on a hanger, and let wool rest a day between wears.
